Why did Erik Salitan leave ‘Life Below Zero’ Tv show?

There is no formal reason for their departure from National Geography or the couple, but they appear to have been gone for a long time. Kate Bassich, another original cast member, had left the show a year prior in 2015. Only Jessie Holmes has been added to the cast.
The reason for the couple’s departure from the show was a mystery to fans. Because neither the Salitan couple nor the producers acknowledged the reason for their departure, this is the case.
However, sources claim that Erik and Martha Salitan’s departure from ‘Life Below Zero’ was due to privacy issues.

Erik, like Martha, does not enjoy being the center of attention. While recording episodes, Erik became increasingly agitated by the presence of cameras in his personal and professional lives. As a result, the pair chose to remain anonymous and left the show in 2016.

Erik’s admirers adored him because of his practically rags-to-riches narrative, but it appears that he was much happier away from the spotlight. Erik allegedly left the show because he was tired of producers and cameras prying into his personal life and business activities. This is natural, particularly for someone who is not used to being in the spotlight. Fans were heartbroken when he left!
